From the beginning of last season through late September 2023, 198 people have been hired as new varsity basketball coaches in Indiana – 105 to boys’ basketball positions and 93 to girls’ basketball positions for the 2023-24 season.
The 198 total is greatest number of changes in the past 25 years. In the spring and summer of 2014, 197 changes were made. That was the previous highest number of changes.
