In order for a player from your school to be eligible for selection to an IBCA All-State Team, the IBCA Academic All-State Team or to win a Player of the Week or Team of the Week award or a Marion Crawley, Junior Mannies, Pat Aikman or Steve & Jeanie Witty scholarship award, you must be a current-year-member of the IBCA.
The current membership year runs from Aug. 1, 2024, through July 31, 2025. (If you joined in February, March or April 2024, that membership expired on July 31, 2024.)
The items mentioned above are just some of the benefits of joining the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. Also, if you register now, you receive membership for $35 per coach. If you register after Dec. 31, 2024, the fee is $45 per coach.

- Utilize the IBCA website – in.nhsbca.org – to stay abreast of issues related to our profession.
- $2 million liability insurance for active high school, junior high and elementary coaches. (How often does an assistant coach oversee a Practice, Limited Contact Session, or conditioning workout, and other activities alone?) Make sure they are covered by the liability insurance.
- Become active and have ownership in the IBCA and IHSAA working relationship.

- Ensure your seniors’ eligibility and nominate them for Academic All-State.
- Nominate players for the IBCA/IHSAA Top 100 Underclass Boys’ Showcase or Girls’ Showcase events.
- Nominate a player, student manager, statistician or cheerleader for one of the IBCA Marion Crawley Memorial Scholarship, Pat Aikman Scholarship or Steve & Jeanie Witty Scholarship college grants.
- Nominate a handicapped student for an IBCA Junior Mannies Scholarship.
- Nominate players for IBCA/Point Guard College "Heart of a Champion" Award.
- Nominate coaching peers for an IBCA/Point Guard College "Transformational Coach" Award.
- Nominate an assistant coach for IBCA Assistant Coach of the Year.
- Promote your players through the IBCA Player of the Week and/or promote your team through the IBCA Team of the Week program.
- Become an Indiana All-Star Coach.
- Become an on-court coach for the IBCA/IHSAA Top 100 Underclass Showcase.
- Free admission to the IBCA/IHSAA Showcase events.
- Free admission to the Indiana All-Star Shootout events.
- Discounted tickets to the Indiana-Kentucky All-Star doubleheader if part of a team participating in the All-Star Shootout.
