In 2009-10 coaches, teams and communities stepped up to raise more than $105,000.

2010-2011 New Coaches

From the end of last season through late September, 157 people have been hired as new varsity basketball coaches in Indiana high schools -- 79 to boys basketball positions and 78 to girls basketball positions -- for the 2010-11 season.

WBCA offers IBCA members a free annual membership with convention registration

Current IBCA members are eligible to register at the member-rate for the WBCA Convention (April 1-5, 2011) in Indianapolis during the Early-Bird registration period. By registering for the meeting, attendees also have the ability to purchase tickets within the WBCA’s block for the NCAA Women’s Final Four.

Junior Mannies/Marion Crawley Scholarship Info

During these difficult economic times, the IBCA is happy to announce that in order to provide more financial support for the families of selected scholarship winners the IBCA scholarship amounts has been increased to $750 for each award winner.

Pat Aikman Scholarship Created for 2011

Last spring, the IBCA Board of Director decided to establish a scholarship in honor of former longtime Indiana All-Star Director Pat Aikman.

In the past year the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame has been a part of the celebration of the 100th year of the Indiana high school basketball tournament, brought back Bob Knight for a fund-raising dinner, inducted our latest classes of Hall of Famers and conducted many other activities to celebrate the rich tradition of Indiana basketball.
