2021 Coaching ‘Milestone’ Award registration form
If you reached 100 victories, 200 victories, 300 victories or another Century "Milestone" number of coaching victories, please log into the Members-Only Section of the IBCA website. Once there, go to the "Member Hub" and look at the list of items in the right column. Once there, click on the fourth line labeled "Century Awards," complete the form and make sure you click on "submit" when you finish the form. Please do this by April 12, 2021.

2021 IBCA Clinic to be virtual and in-person

2021 Coaches’ Roundtable participants
A roundtable of former coaches is one of the items planned for the 2021 IBCA in-person clinic on Oct. 16 at Lawrence North. This year’s panel is planned to feature this trio of coaches – Charles Mair, Dave Nicholson and Virgil Sweet. They will offer their expertise on building programs that stand the test of time.

IBCA/Franciscan Health Senior and Underclass Boys All-State
Fifteen seniors and 15 underclass players were chosen “Supreme 15,” 15 more seniors and 15 more underclass players were chosen Large School All-State and 16 more seniors and 15 more underclass players were chosen Small School All-State in the IBCA/Franciscan Health All-State program for boys. In addition, 89 seniors and 90 underclass players received Honorable Mention All-State accolades.

Thirty-seven players were chosen as first-team selections on the IBCA 2021 Boys' Academic All-State Team. An additional 271 players were selected as honorable mention Academic All-State.

Thirty-three players were chosen as first-team selections on the IBCA 2021 Girls' Academic All-State Team. An additional 275 players were selected as honorable mention Academic All-State.

IBCA/Franciscan Health Players of the Week
Seventy-eight student-athletes were named IBCA/Franciscan Health Players of the Week during the 2020-21 season. Those selected – 39 boys and 39 girls – will receive a certificate of recognition of their honor from the IBCA.

Indiana All-Stars

The year of COVID-19 brought the best out of the Hoosier state as high schools worked diligently to give the student-athletes of Indiana a chance to compete and play basketball at the high school level.

The status of the IBCA Challenge Cup is uncertain for the 2021-22 season. Tentative plans are for the event to be played as an Indiana-only competition, likely having teams from northern Indiana facing teams from southern Indiana.

Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame

The museum re-opened in March after being closed for about two months as renovations were being worked on as part of the Ron & Charlotte Warrick Legends Project. Enhancements include six new digital displays, improved lighting plus upgrades to flooring, heating and cooling throughout the facility.
